Job Title: Customer Relations Representative
Area of Interest: Accounting/Finance
External Description:
Responsible for the receipt and entry into computer system of bill payments made both in person and through the mail; makes payment arrangements with customers
Completes necessary paperwork for the reporting of gas leaks, sales of merchandise and complaints of high gas bills
Balances cash drawer each day; ensures timely deposit of receipts.
Enters service requests into system and schedules work through dispatch system.
Prepares cut-off notice cards to be hung by Meter Readers and/or Servicemen.
Routes paperwork to appropriate office and maintains branch office files
May serve as back-up CRR in other branch locations

Qualifications:
Education -
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience -
Six months to one year of related experience; or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities -
Knowledge of basic administrative and clerical procedures and the principles and processes involved in the cashiering function and providing customer service.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of company policies and procedures and pertain to areas of responsibility
Ability to handle large sums of money in a confident and responsible manner
Ability to use general office equipment and general and specialized computer applications to manage information
Ability to read, write and interpret work related documents
Ability to use basic math skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co-workers and supervisors
Ability to deal with unpleasant, angry or discourteous people in a professional manner
Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
